Celebrating the very "Best of British" Country Artists' new series takes a light-hearted look at some of the most illustrious meerkat heroes through the ages, each true exemplars of a bygone era and who seem somewhat familair to us humans.
The artist Malc Spour was born in County Durham. He moved to Swindon as a young boy and lived there until 1992 with his family. Malc has always been interested in wildlife and spent his early years studying and drawing the birds and animals in his area. This love continues to this day and as a self-taught sculptor with over 25 years' experience, he enjoys working in all mediums, bring wildlife subjects to life through skill and fine detail.
